Sunday afternoon is the best day to relax, either indoor or outdoor. But for today, Tachibana Kippei and Matsuda Saki decided to try going outside and visit the small park near their neighborhood.

“Do you want a crêpe?” Tachibana asked Saki when they saw a crêpe stall near a see-saw. Saki nodded in answer and laughed, “It’s so rare for you to offer me first.”


He frowned and wanted to throw an answer back but decided to keep calm and shut his mouth.

They arrived in front of the crêpe stall. “A banana chocolate crêpe please.” She smiled at the worker and turned her head to face the boy beside her. “And you?”

“A banana cheese.” He said after scanning the menu for a while.

Their crêpes arrived on their hands after several minutes. “Hey Kippei, do you know that banana and you have some similarity?” she commented while munched her crêpe.

He looked at her questioningly. “What is that?”

“Both of you has ‘bana’ in your name! Your blonde hair is similar to banana’s yellow color too.” She let out a loud laugh. “Banana-kun sounds good on you.”

“O—oi!” You’re going to be a Tachibana too soon, you know? Inner Tachibana shouted. He has the urge to tell it to her directly, but not now. Soon he will.

They enjoyed the afternoon breeze while sitting on a bench. Saki eating her crêpe without noticing there was a chocolate stain on her cheek.

“Oi Saki, there’s a chocolate stain.”

Saki snapped and touched her cheek curiously. “Eh? Where?”

“There, near your left lips.” Tachibana added as he continued to eat his banana cheese crêpe. Saki found the stain and removed it using her hand.

Suddenly, Tachibana got a good idea.

“You’re so careless. Look, there’s another stain on your cheek.”

Saki sighed in frustration at her clumsiness and touched her cheeks, searching for the chocolate stain he said earlier.

“Not there.” He added after some time she spent touching her cheeks. He lifted his hand to her  cheek. Not to left the chocolate stain off, but to cup it softly and use the moment to deliver a sweet touch with his lips to the corner of her lip. “That’s the revenge for the banana earlier.” He grinned while getting up from his seat and walked away.

Saki was stunned for awhile, trying to register the event in her mind. When she realized, she found Tachibana already walked far ahead. She sat up and chase over him, getting herself ready to kick him. “Kippeeee----eiii!!!”
