Sanada Satsuki caressed her already big belly softly, as if trying to calm herself and her baby inside. Exhaling her breath, she watched her husband packing his belongings.

"For how long?"

Sanada Genichirou stopped on his track, moved his body to face his concerned-looking wife sitting at the edge of their bed. He approached her, unable to think of proper things to say. He was a stoic man to begin with, and with their almost one year marriage, he still found it hard to explain some things.

"A month." He went silent before continued the sentence, caressing her hair gently. "I won't get injured like last time, Satsuki."

The pregnant woman's mind trailed to some months ago, while both of them still newlyweds and Genichirou had his first field mission. Usually he just doing his duty as policeman behind the desk or at least, doing some light investigation. However, what happened on his field mission nearly caused Satsuki a heart attack when she got a call from the police office, informing that her husband were getting shot when his group attempted to arrest a gang.

She held his hand with her shaky hand, absolutely against the idea of he getting sent to field mission for the second time. Not to mention, she was pregnant this time. And it just made her mood went worse easily.

"I'll ask Okaa-san to accompany you when I'm out."

"That's not what I mean-" she cut down his sentences. Bad feelings were swirled on her head as she suddenly felt scared of losing him. Anything can be happened during the mission. Anything. Even death.

"I know." He sighed, running out of words. He sat down on the bed, bringing her closer to him as he embraced her in a warm, tight hug. Trying to silently said that he will be okay; she shouldn't get worried over trivial matter like that and just focused on her health and their baby.

"Promise me?" She whispered between his neck as he saw her pinky finger raised to his vision. He kissed her forehead long, before wrapping her finger in a pink swear.

"You can believe in me."

(Ficlet) All or Nothing At All

Words: 704
Genre: Romance
Summary: Tezuka thought of the things occurred on his life.

The thought of word love never crossed Tezuka Kunimitsu's mind. At least back then, when his mind was filled with tennis, tennis and tennis. And academic stuffs. And student council duty.

His mind already full enough. There was no room for love, or what it called. Tennis is his life, and forever will be. Doing his duty whole-heartedly is the first priority. Tezuka Kunimitsu lived his life by his laws -where other people saw it as merely robotic life- until that warmth began to sneak silently inside his heart.

"My name is Ueda Rie, student council secretary. I hope we can work together from now on."

---------------------------------

He always done all things alone. It was much easier, and you didn't have to think about other things. It made him easier to focus and concentrate on important task.

"Ueda-san, what are you doing?"

"Accompanying you on greeting the student?" He saw her smiling sheepishly. "I think I need to know the students too. And assisting setokaichou-san, it's one of the secretary's work, right?"

He just sighed on her presence. What he didn't realize that time was, sometimes together is better than alone.

---------------------------------

He never thought that touching other person's fingers can sent a series of tingling feelings to his heart. What was a normal one, continued to beat faster and faster in irregular rhythm as the girl interlaced her fingers with him.

He didn't understand why, instead of pulling away, he caressed the soft fingers slowly, as if he afraid it will be broken. Wondering how with just a touch, it can made his life full of lights.

---------------------------------

"....Germany?"

He nodded as response to the girl. He saw it, how her eyes displayed many emotions: from surprised, shocked, to hurt and she managed to change her gaze to a normal one in just a second.

"For tennis?"

Once again, he nodded at her question. Silence were hung in the air, as he saw the girl broke into a smile, yet it looked so painful. "Please do your best."

And he never knew that saying goodbye was actually this painful.

---------------------------------

“Good morning.”

“Guten morgen.”

“How are you?”

“Wie geht es Ihnen?”

“Very well, thanks.”

“Danke, gut.”

“I would love to see you.”

He was an intelligent person to begin with, that's easy for him to read the meaning behind everything. He knew.

“Ich möchte gern Dich sehen”

“You are dear to me.”

He stopped for a while. His brown orbs catch the glimpse of a certain pink-haired girl sulked herself lower beneath the Germany Conversation book. A part of him wanted to smile; he felt so warm. Maybe that was how you feel when you got a certain feelings that a person you treasure actually holding you in their heart dearly.

“Sei mir lieb.”

---------------------------------

"Ueda Rie."

How long has it going when he finally speak that magical name? Four years? Five? Or more? It wasn't his custom to count out the time, but what surprised him was saying her name was like a double-edged sword. It was sweet yet bitter at the same time. Especially when he looked at the scene in front of him, displaying her in such a broken state.

Did he regret leaving her? He never regret choose tennis, honestly. But what was the itchy feeling lingered on his heart and began to get wider and wider as the warm girl he once knew, now turning her back against him?

---------------------------------

‘I want you.’

‘I know.’

‘I have always waited for you.’

'I know.’

Tezuka Kunimitsu knows everything. What keeping him in his track was his fear. It was funny, how a person like him actually can feel the fear. And he never thought that his biggest fear is to lose her.

His source of warmth.

---------------------------------

People said, you will never able to turn back, when you've stepped in the altar with the person you choose to be with for the rest of your life.

What Tezuka Kunimitsu know is, she always be in everywhere. In his mind. In his heart. Even when he turned his back, she still there, giving him the support and warmth, from the first time they met until now. And ever.

"I do."

Shouts and curse words were heard as the silver-haired man laughed, amused by the poor girl's redden face and 'cute' behavior.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY DRINK LAST NIGHT, NIOU MASAHARU?!"

"You said you had insomniac lately, so I added sleeping pills to it." He answered calmly.

"A... Marriage?"

"Yes! Um.. will you?"

Kagami Sarara pinned her orbs on a blonde guy in front of her. Oshitari Kenya, 26 years old. A successful young doctor who is popular among the women for his charms and cheerfulness. Standing in front of her, he begged once again after hearing no response from the person he asked to.

"So, Sarara. Will you?"

She saw that pleading look in his eyes. Having no other choice, she nodded her head.

---------------------

The decoration was fabulous. White roses combined with blue Baby Breath dominate the view. Inhaling deeply from her tight dresses, Sarara let the hairdresser, famous Taki Haginosuke, tidying up her flower pin for the last time.

"You looked awesome, dear," he kissed the girl's cheek, leaving an uneasy glaze in her eyes. "Don't worry, everything's gonna be okay." He hugged her for the last time before she entered the church for wedding matrimony. "You can do it." Was the stylist's last words she catch before the bells echoing in her ears.

Walking slowly down the aisle, she saw him in front of the altar, looking at her direction. He was gorgeous with his white suit and bleached yet tidy hair. His smile -it was the prettiest one she had seen-. Arrived in front of the altar, he stepped closer and whispered in her ears. His smile was bright. Very bright. But unfortunately, it wasn't for her.

"Thank you for taking the role as my bridesmaid, Sarara. I owe you a lot."

Disclaimer: I own the plot only.Song is I See the Light from Tangled.

All those days watching from the windows
All those years outside looking in
All that time never even knowing
Just how blind I've been

"Let's compete on who's getting on the hill the fastest!" Oshitari Kenya, the said naniwa no speed star, claimed his challenge to his friends which resulted with snorts from the second year brat, some sighs by the third years and an 'I-accepted-your-challenge-who-wins-gets-takoyaki' by a certain red hair first year.

Now I'm here, blinking in the starlight
Now I'm here, suddenly I see
Standing here, it's crystal clear
I'm where I'm meant to be

"Kin-chan," a dangerous tone was heard from the captain. "Calm down or I will..." he started to unfold his arm bandage, much to Tooyama Kintarou's dismay. He knew he had no other choice except sat down silently beside a bespectacled girl who started to unpack her picnic bag.

"Nee, Sara-nee, where's the cake you bought earlier?"

And at last I see the light
And it's like the fog has lifted
And at last I see the light
And it's like the sky is new
And it's warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted

"Look! The fireworks going to start!" Koishikawa Kenjiro pointed his finger at the colorful night sky. All Shitenhoji members stopped on their track, looked at his direction.

"It's so beautiful..."

"Ooh the fireworks are so big!"

All those days chasing down a daydream
All those years living in a blur
All that time never truly seeing
Things, the way they were

"Oh guys, shut up and take your own portion." Kagami Sarara snapped at the guys, who's fighting over a slice of chocolate cake she bought earlier.

"Stop eating, Kin-chan! You ate most of the cake!"

"B-but Kenya, I'm so hungry..."

"Arara, family don't fight, you know." Konjiki Koharu sent them his famous love wink, made both of them stop rambling. Not because of fear, but the disgusting feeling that started to boil up inside of them. Ishida Gin watched the little Shitenhoji 'family' while silently sipped his tea.

And it's warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted
All at once, everything is different
Now that I see you!

"Kurarin-papa, look at Hikaru-chan! He's so naughty!"

"What the hell, who wants to be your son."

"Koharu-kun! You cheated with Shiraishi?!"

"Dear lord, would you guys stop rambling and let me enjoy the fireworks?"

"Ahaha Kagami, be patient. My saiki kanpatsu no kiwami said it takes 1 hour 20 minutes 17 seconds for this talk to stop."

"There is no such thing as fun for the whole family." [1]

"Gin-san, do you mind if I eat your cake?"

"Kin-chan! Stop eating already!"

"You guys. Nn, ecstasy~!"

"....And I left unnoticed again. Sob..."

(Drabble) Garbage Truck

Title: Garbage Truck
Character: Shitenhoji Tennis Club, Kagami Sarara (Sarachin's OC)
Rating:T
Genre: Friendship
Summary: A real friendship bounded by heart, not words.
Status: Complete
Note:  First friendship genre I have ever write. The prompt "garbage truck" is so hard for me orz (bows down)
Disclaimer: I own the plot only.

Definition of garbage:
a : food waste
b : discarded or useless material

Shitenhoji Department were famous for its unusualness. A captain who always shout 'ecstasy' every time he had the chance. A gay-looked-a-like couple. A boy who claimed himself a 'speed star' but actually very clumsy. A bald, Buddha-like statue. A wild, unmannered boy. A tall, big wanderer whom the presence is not predictable, to the extent of being the betting object of the students. A rebellious brat who has lots of ear piercings. And an unnoticeable vice captain.

Very unnoticeable, to the point we mostly ended up talking about Shitenhoji without him.

Many people looked at them as an useless group of people (although Shiraishi's life motto is related to life-without-waste, or something like that) who liked to get easy on problems. Enjoying life like there's no tomorrow. Making fun of theirselves, no wonder people refer to them as a fool.

Nobody tried to understand them. And they never tried to make people understand either.

Because what they searched was a friend who understand them by heart, not by words. A friend who willing to look at them as a treasure able thing, although the environment took them as a pile of trash.

"Hey guys! Here, I bought some freshly baked bread!"

Glad they found the red-haired girl, Kagami Sarara. Another quirky person, indeed. But they didn't mind, because a friend is bounded by heart, not words. After all, they all are happy being on the same journey using the garbage truck of friendships.

" Sometimes it's better to sit back and let people call you trash other than fighting back and proving their point." ~Anon.
