-Cough cough-

Sanada Genichirou looked at the source of the voice: kitchen's wash bin at Sanada residence. He had moved from his old house to build a new life with his wife, Janey. Both has just married for months and his wife began to vomit every time they ate. He was worried; wondering if his beloved getting sick or something. Raised in a somewhat big family, he never took care of any sick person before and that fact made him uneasy because of the sudden realization that he was unready to take care of his sick wife.

Walking up to the wash bin, he found Janey's hand gripped the edge of the wash bin. Her breath was unsteady.

"Are you okay?"

She turned back, looking at him then nodding slightly. Her pale face made the man's wariness skyrocketed to the max. Grabbing her arm, he escorted her to the chair.

"You sure you don't need to go to the doctor?"

"I just feel my stomach a little horrible. It will go." She stared weakly at her husband's eyes. Smiling, the woman tried to ease away his worry. "It's okay, Genichirou. Really."

The man sighed then realized his phone was vibrating, indicating an incoming call. "Okaa-san?"

"What did she said?" Janey asked after he hung up the phone. "Nothing. She just asked about how's life here and I said everything goes okay but you're sick." He let out another sigh. "She said she will be here later."

Sanada Janey stared at her husband in confuse, but shrugged it off. Maybe her mother-in-law just want to check their life after married.

(Later)

"E--eh?? W-what is this, Okaa-sama?"

"Shoosh dear, just use it." She winked at the younger woman. "Just for the proof. Although my mother-sense said that my grandchild is on the way."

"E---EH?! W--what?? G-grandchild??"

"Don't have to be shy. I'll just wait downstairs with Genichirou. Call me when the result is out, okay?" She smiled for the last time before leaving Janey alone. She stared at the thing in her hand. Her mother-in-law came some time ago and after a small chit-chat, she dragged Janey and shoved the test pack to her hand.

Now think about it, maybe the uneasy feelings she had would be... morning sickness?! And she heard that pregnant women usually had nausea. Suddenly she felt dizziness hit her head. A... baby? She wasn't prepared...yet. But to think that there would be her and Genichirou's love inside her tummy...

She sat down on the bathroom's floor. Never crossed her mind to have a baby this soon but... the image of her husband and her child-to-be feels so natural. Unconsciously touching her belly, the scene feel more real: Genichirou would be a good father despite his strictness; she knew that. And she would happily bake the cake for the family every Sunday, when the little Sanada family will have a picnic and her Genichirou will persuade their child to play tennis when the little just able to run. Her child will--

"Janey?"

Genichirou's appearance in front of the bathroom's door surprised her. She tried to hide the test pack but he saw it already. "What is that?"

"Um... E....E... This is..."

He walked closer, bended down to her and took the packaging from the floor. "Test.. pack?"

A red flush spreading fast on her face. "N-noo it's... Okaa-sama gave me that. She said... uhh...."

The stoic man went silent for some minutes, unable to think of proper words. What do people usually say on time like this aargh?! Genichirou you're so tarundoru!

Silence hung in the air for an endless time, at least that was the pair thought until Janey tried to break it. "Gen..."

"What is the result?"

"Eh? Uh..." She forgot to check it. Grabbing the pack, she stared at it.

"...P-positive...?"

Once again, silence hung in the air. Both parties didn't know what to say.

"Sorry I'm so... Aargh I really don't know what to say right now." Janey looked up to find her husband slamming his ass to the floor. His face... Didn't know, how to explain it. A mixture of confuse, happiness, blankness, and much more?

Staring back at the floor, she felt dejected. Did her husband... not wanting this child---

Before she knew, the sentence in her head cut down because she felt a strong arm pulled her to a warm embrace. She knew this warmth. And the cologne. Also the heartbeat she always listened to every night.

"Thank you for this awesome gift," he said, whispering softly to her ear. Very soft. As if he tried to speak to the child in her tummy also. She smiled, putting her husband wide palm to her tummy, giving him the chance to feel every single trace of their love life there.

"Happy birthday, Genichirou."
