Shitenhoji Department were famous for its unusualness. A captain who always shout 'ecstasy' every time he had the chance. A gay-looked-a-like couple. A boy who claimed himself a 'speed star' but actually very clumsy. A bald, Buddha-like statue. A wild, unmannered boy. A tall, big wanderer whom the presence is not predictable, to the extent of being the betting object of the students. A rebellious brat who has lots of ear piercings. And an unnoticeable vice captain.

Very unnoticeable, to the point we mostly ended up talking about Shitenhoji without him.

Many people looked at them as an useless group of people (although Shiraishi's life motto is related to life-without-waste, or something like that) who liked to get easy on problems. Enjoying life like there's no tomorrow. Making fun of theirselves, no wonder people refer to them as a fool.

Nobody tried to understand them. And they never tried to make people understand either.

Because what they searched was a friend who understand them by heart, not by words. A friend who willing to look at them as a treasure able thing, although the environment took them as a pile of trash.

"Hey guys! Here, I bought some freshly baked bread!"

Glad they found the red-haired girl, Kagami Sarara. Another quirky person, indeed. But they didn't mind, because a friend is bounded by heart, not words. After all, they all are happy being on the same journey using the garbage truck of friendships.

" Sometimes it's better to sit back and let people call you trash other than fighting back and proving their point." ~Anon.
