Sounds of a person running hurriedly to reach the hospital's rooftop were heard. Kagami Sarara panted hard. She wasn't that good with physical activity compared to her friends at Shitenhoji Tennis Club; not that she's very bad with it but just... not good enough.

BAM! "Shiraishi Kuranosuke!" She yelled loudly as her hand slapped the door violently, revealing the scene of a certain ecstatic-doctor, standing outside the fence.

"What the hell are you doing there, Shiraishi?!" She tried to walk closer to her ex-high-school-friend-now-colleague with shaky steps. She didn't understand why he wanted to commit suicide. Moreover, why he choose their workplace as the place to die. Heck, he just acted like those troublesome patients who decided to end up their life when the doctors said the percentage of their recovery was very low.

"Ah, Nurse Kagami, it is." He turned his head to look at the girl. Her hair and uniform were messy. Somewhat he felt sorry but he can't turn back now.

"Get out from there, Shiraishi!" She yelled desperately.

Shiraishi let out a light chuckle. "Say, Sarara, finally I can understand why broken-hearted people decided to commit suicide. Because the pain is too unbearable, you see." A painful smile was plastered on his face. Sarara stopped in her track, surprised by his remarks. "What do you...mean?"

"I'm sorry for all these things I caused. I'm sorry I didn't understand your feelings before." Shiraishi looked at her from the tail of his eyes. 'You have to be more dramatic, look, she already moved a little', "Now I understand you treasure our friendship above all. But I'm sorry..." He stopped a while for more dramatic effect. "I can't stand the pain, Sarara."

Shiraishi took a step closer the edge. She almost caught in her breath as she said her sentence with a low, almost trembled voice. "You gotta be kidding me, Kuranosuke."

"Sarara, I know about your feelings. Before I jumped, let me confirm it with my own ears: Will you marry me?"

His voice was unstable and she could sense a lot of pain in it. Unable to deliver a proper response, her lips just managed to say his name. "Kuranosuke..."

"Bye, Sarara. I will always love you." And by that, he jumped off the hospital's rooftop.

"NOOOO KURANOSUKE DON'T DIE! I love you, I love you, I'm willing to spend the rest of my life with you, so please don't leave me alone." Her feet were moving on its own as she reached the place Shiraishi used to stand earlier. She didn't know what did she shout about, nor the tears that already started to flow from her eyes.

"Kuranosukeeeeee--!!" She yelled his name as her voice began to sound sobby. "Don't... leave... me...alone." She was so drown in her misery that she didn't notice the voice asking her.

"Are you sure you will marry Shiraishi Kuranosuke?"

"-sob- Yes! I will -sob-"

"Are you promise to love him forever?"

"I will, I will!" She sobbed again. "Just... Don't leave me alone, Kuranosuke..."

"YESSSS!! YOU GUYS HEAR THAT? SARARA ACCEPTED MY PROPOSAL!"

Kagami Sarara blinked her wet eyes in confusion. Just now... Was it Shiraishi's voice?

She approached the fences, looked down and saw the big sign "Congratulations on your engagement, Kurarin and Sarachin!" hold by all Shitenhoji tennis club members. Her mind still can't register what happened, when her eyes instinctively looked down, to find her just-five-minutes-ago-colleague-turned-fiancée smiling and making a 'peace' sign down there, his feet tied by a rope.

"Now now guys, let me down already." As he hang himself in the air, his head can't stand the blood that began to flow down, to his head.

"No way~! Kurarin should hang there a little bit more~"

"Yeahh!! Because you stole Sara-nee from us!"

"O-oi, you guys!" Shiraishi tried to protest but... what can he do. He better kept his mouth shut before the blood rushed outside his head. Yes, that was the most effective way to keep himself alive for now.

The bespectacled girl felt the urgency to kill her friends one by one. How dare they set something like--

That was when her eyes catch a glimpse of a pink-haired girl. She was talking to her friends and she can hear Kintarou shouted excitedly 'thanks for your help, Rie-senpai!'. Sarara eyed the girl dangerously and the petite girl looked at her direction, as if she can sense her deathly glare.

The petite pink-haired girl, Ueda Rie, smiled and waved elegantly to Sarara's direction. She absolutely can sense her anger. Oh whatever, the mahoutsukai deserved it sometimes.

"Well well, Ueda-san, your smile kinda dangerous." Chitose Senri analyzed the short girl's expression. She smiled back to him, made a 'peace' sign and added. "The best revenge is a massive success."
